Opis
An icon of Bauhaus design, the Kaiser Idell was first designed by Christian Dell in 1931. With a bold curvaceous form and its world-patented swivel joint, this lamp embodies the Bauhaus ideals of functionality and form, becoming a symbol of forward-thinking Germanic design. As the Bauhaus turned 100, Fritz Hansen released this iconic lamp in a brand-new combination of materials. The reflective warmth of the brass combines as a bold pairing with the coolness of matt grey or darkness of matt black. The limited-edition brass finish will gain a unique, natural patina over time – reflecting each piece’s unique place in design history. A true collector’s piece, each lamp is also embossed with the words ‘ORIGINAL KAISER-idell’ on its characteristic domed shade.
